We can only appoint a security company once we have enough debit orders signed up as we require assurance of income to enter into an agreement with a security company. Please participate to fill in the debit order e-mandate to allow us to move ahead with arrangements to get security on-site.
It is essential that we have security in this road closure to help guard our new infrastructure and ensure that unsavoury characters do not enter our space. The point of this entire project was to eradicate crime such as:
- Bin theft
- Petty crimes such as garden furniture going missing, washing stolen off lines, gate motor batteries stolen / gate motor vandalism
- Hijackings
- Home invasions
- House break ins
- Vehicle theft
- Wall jumpers
- Robbery of delivery bikes
- Muggings
- Mess left behind and littering in our parks
- Avoid vandalism of essential council infrastructure, especially our street lights & electrical boxes.
And to ALLOW us to:
- Take a walk in the streets without fear.
- Go out for a jog.
- Take your pets for a walk.
- Use the parks.
- Leave your bin out without fear that it will be gone by the time you get back from work.
